What is warm-up? Why the AI is quiet on a new number's first days
A safety step that lowers the risk of Meta blocking a fresh number.
What is warm-up?
A brand-new WhatsApp number that suddenly starts sending automated replies looks like a bot to Meta, and Meta may block it. Warm-up keeps the AI silent on WhatsApp for the first few days of a new/cold number, so it looks like a number with real life before automation kicks in. This greatly lowers the risk of a block.
What happens
- When a fresh number connects, the AI's WhatsApp replies are paused for a few days.
- It turns back on automatically when the warm-up ends, you don't have to do anything.
- Telegram, the website widget and the rest of your dashboard keep working normally.
It's normal and recommended. If you want the AI to reply on WhatsApp right away, just turn the WhatsApp toggle back on in the dashboard's "AI per channel" card.
