Move your number to the official WhatsApp API (ban-free)

Why the official API?

The QR connection (the fast way most customers use) works great for normal numbers, but Meta can throttle or block highly-exposed business numbers connected through a non-official client. The official WhatsApp Business API is the only ban-free path, it is the channel Meta itself provides for businesses.

Who is it for?

Available on every plan, with hands-on setup support from our team. Recommended for your main business number, or any number you cannot afford to lose. It accepts numbers from any country (Portugal +351 included).

What you need

• A verified Meta Business account (Business Verification).
• The number must leave the WhatsApp app (the same number cannot be on the app and the API at once).
• Access to the number to receive an SMS or call code.

Steps

1. Sign in to business.facebook.com.
2. Business settings → WhatsApp Accounts → create/select a WhatsApp account (WABA).
3. WhatsApp Manager → Phone numbers → Add number (display name, category, your number).
4. Verify by SMS or call.
5. Done, the number is registered on the official API.

Business verification can take 1–3 days. If your number is currently blocked, wait for the block to clear before verifying, a Baileys block does not carry over to the official API. Contact us and our team walks you through it.
