Why not the official API?

The official API (WhatsApp Business API) is built for large call-centers, and it comes with heavy trade-offs for a small business:

• It requires a dedicated number that stops working in the WhatsApp app on your phone, you would no longer see your conversations there.
• It requires a verified Meta Business account (days of paperwork) and a display name approved by Meta.
• Everything moves out of the WhatsApp you know.
