Tesla connector: your AI employee talks to your car
Link your Tesla account and ask ORYKSA about battery, range, charging and location, or send commands like climate and charging.
The Tesla connector links your own Tesla account to ORYKSA through Tesla's official Fleet API. Once linked, you can ask your AI employee about the car and send it commands, by chat or voice, on any owner channel (browser extension, mobile app, Alexa).
How to connect
1. Open Connectors and choose Tesla.
2. Click Connect. You are taken to the official Tesla login page. ORYKSA never sees your Tesla password.
3. Sign in and approve the requested access: vehicle information, location, vehicle commands and charging management.
4. You are returned to ORYKSA and your vehicles appear in the connector card.
What you can ask
- "How much charge does my car have?" / "What is the range?"
- "Is the car locked?" / "Where is the car?"
- "Is it charging?" / "When will charging finish?"
- "Turn on the climate" / "Stop charging" / "Set the charge limit to 80%" / "Lock the car"
Commands
Commands are only sent when you explicitly ask for them: never automatically and never on behalf of a customer. Supported today: climate on/off, start/stop charging, charge limit, lock/unlock.
Note: on vehicles from 2021 on, Tesla only accepts commands signed with the ORYKSA virtual key (Tesla's vehicle-command protocol). ORYKSA signs every command automatically; you only add the virtual key to the car once (see below). If a command cannot be delivered, ORYKSA tells you clearly instead of pretending it worked. Reading data always works.
Privacy and security
- Access is limited to your own vehicles and to the permissions you approved on Tesla's page.
- Tokens are stored encrypted. Vehicle data is used only to answer your requests and is never shared or used for marketing.
- Only the account owner can use the Tesla connector. Customers talking to your AI employee on WhatsApp or on your website cannot see or control your car.
Disconnect
Open Connectors > Tesla and click Disconnect. ORYKSA revokes its access immediately. You can also remove ORYKSA from your Tesla account settings.
Plans
Connectors are available on paid plans. The Free plan does not include connectors.
Interactions and costs
Every request ORYKSA makes to your car (reading data, waking it up, sending a command) counts as 1 interaction of your plan, like a WhatsApp message. When your plan limit is reached, Tesla answers stop until the limit renews or you upgrade.
Commands on recent cars: add the ORYKSA virtual key
Vehicles from 2021 on only accept commands signed with a key that is enrolled in the car. Do this once per car:
1. Make sure the car is online and your phone is paired with it in the Tesla app.
2. On the phone, open https://tesla.com/_ak/oryksa.com (or scan the QR code shown on Connectors > Tesla).
3. The Tesla app asks you to approve Add virtual key for the domain oryksa.com. Approve.
4. From then on, commands like climate, lock and charging work. If a car is missing the key, ORYKSA answers with this link instead of failing silently.
Reading data (battery, range, location) works without the virtual key. You can remove the key at any time in the car under Controls > Locks.
