See what each n8n workflow spends

The usage statement shows the interactions of each n8n workflow.

What this is for

The usage statement (Plan and billing > Usage statement) shows the interactions that came from n8n under the name n8n, with the name of the workflow on each line. The block By workflow adds them up for the period you chose: how many interactions each workflow spent and in how many runs. Tap a workflow to see only its entries.

The price does not change: a reply costs the same whether it comes from n8n or not.

Automations created by ORYKSA

Nothing to do. They already say which workflow they are.

Flows you build yourself

In the HTTP Request node, turn on Send Headers and add:

  • X-Oryksa-Source = n8n
  • X-Oryksa-Workflow = {{ encodeURIComponent($workflow.name) }}
  • X-Oryksa-Workflow-Id = {{ $workflow.id }}
  • X-Oryksa-Execution-Id = {{ $execution.id }}

In the OpenAI node you can only set a fixed header, in the credential: add X-Oryksa-Source = n8n. The statement then shows n8n, without the name of the workflow. To see each workflow, use the HTTP Request node.

Make and Zapier work the same way, with make or zapier in X-Oryksa-Source.

Good to know

  • The name can have up to 120 characters.
  • These headers are only a label for your statement. They give no permission and change no price.
  • Requests made before this existed stay under Public API.
