Connect Instagram and Messenger

Connect your Facebook Page and the Instagram professional account linked to it, and your AI answers the direct messages there, just like it does on WhatsApp. Every conversation shows up in Activities › Conversations, where you can read it and reply yourself.

What it does

• Answers Messenger messages sent to your Facebook Page.
• Answers Instagram Direct messages, if your Page has an Instagram professional account linked.
• Can also answer comments on your posts, if you turn that on.
• Sends you a notification for new messages or comments, if you choose so in the connector's Notifications.

How to connect

1. Open Connectors › Instagram (or Facebook Page).
2. Click Connect Instagram and Messenger. If you only want Messenger (for example, you have Instagram accounts on Facebook but do not want to connect any), open Facebook Page and click Connect Messenger.
3. Log in to Facebook, choose your Page and its Instagram account, and accept all the permissions.
4. You come back to ORYKSA with a confirmation. If your Page has no Instagram professional account, only Messenger is connected.

The two switches

• The AI answers direct messages: on by default.
• The AI answers comments: off by default. Turn it on if you want the AI to reply to comments on your posts.

When you reply yourself

If you answer a customer from your Page inbox (Meta Business Suite) or from the Instagram app, the AI pauses on that conversation by itself, so it never talks over you.

The 24-hour window

Meta only allows replies up to 24 hours after the customer's last message. Outside that window the AI does not send anything; as soon as the customer writes again, it can answer.

Disconnect

In the same connector, click Disconnect. You can connect again, or choose another Page, with Connect again or change page.
